After a lot of procrastination, I finally pulled the trigger on getting a new website (jackmurphywrites.com) made which will replace this one (reflexivefire.com) with the help of a very talented webmaster and graphics designer. The new site is head and shoulders above and beyond this one which I designed myself as you can probably tell. This site is also showing its age. I hope all of you will head over to JackMurphywrites.com, take a look around, and let me know what you think. Please make sure you bookmark it for future reference as I will be making all future updates there. I will leave this blog open for the time being simply for reference.
Up on the new site you can read excerpts of some of my recent articles and read some of my latest work for free, particularly an article I wrote about Philippine Navy SEALS engaged in combat with the Maute Group. A few weeks ago I got back from the Philippines and South Korea where I was interviewing all sorts of interesting people.

Loved your article on the 7th SFG sex scandal. It’s about time they were held accountable. And that a former SF had the guts to report it.
This was just the “tip of the iceberg”! What about guys coming back with 50K+ US currency, undocumented weapons, ATVs and tractors (theses were purchased with GWOT funds and are now parked at their homes).

First of all I would like to say great blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear
your thoughts before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my mind
in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing
however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
