I apologize for not updating this blog lately but I’ve been quite busy between final exams in college, traveling to Europe for the holidays, working on various projects for SOFREP (including translating a Danish language SOF memoir and a documentary appearance!), and of course working on Direct Action. I can finally announce that the draft and first round of edits are done with and the book now resides with a proof reader. It looks like we are still on track for a release in February.
Not to get too far ahead of myself, but I feel that this is my best novel thus far and I’m excited to share it with all of you. The book will be controversial, some will blow off the thesis of the book while those who know what I’m writing about will do everything possible to make sure that this material remains as nothing more than a work of fiction, but I wrote this novel for a very different reason than the other two. There are some issues that the Special Operations community needs to confront. Only time will tell whether or not this happens.
Can’t wait to see what is in store for Deckard now you little tease. Keep up the good work, brother. Don’t forget to let us know about the bad ass caps.
Will do, they should be in the works right now.
Can’t wait!! Your work with SOFREP is amazing and I for one appreciate all that you and your mates do to keep us aware of things we need to understand! Looking forward to seeing Deckard in action again!
Thanks!
Jack – you had warned us it would get dark. The teaser chapters definitely were. Look forward to this one for certain….
It is en route!
Can’t wait for the book and hats.
Will you be offering signed copies as well, Jack? I missed the boat on the signed RF copies, so considering your satisfaction with your latest work this should be something special!
No missed boats…look at the side bar menu. There are instructions for buying signed copies.
