I just wanted to let everyone know that early next month SOFREP.com will be going live. SOFREP is a joint venture between Brandon Webb (Former SEAL), me (Former Ranger Regiment and Special Forces), and Bill Janson (Former Recon Marine). We are also looking at grabbing up a AFSOC guy in the near future. The website is going to be a one stop shop for information, news, and articles about Special Operations units. Each editor of the site will cover his respective service and produce regular content. We’ve got a lot more planned for the future, but I’ll keep that under wraps for now. In the mean time, you can go to SOFREP.com and sign up now to get updates and the announcement for when the website goes live. I’m really excited about it and am looking forward to hearing from all of you about your thoughts on the site!
SOFREP.com, the go to website for Special Operations

I am quite saddened by the things I hear in the media about the teams. I was attached to the 723rd MSC(A) out of SOCOM and you would never hear of such dissention. I imagine its the sign of the times. It’s unfortunate for my brothers I proudly served with at NAS Little Creek and in Balad.
Are you talking about the recent goings on with the SEALs? It is unfortunate, it colors the entire unit in a negative (and inaccurate) light.
